Job Description: Announcers are

meteorologist/weekday reporter for our Casper operation.
Requirements: The candidate should be a
trained meteorologist, familiar with on-air presentation
and forecasting. Familiarity with our WSI system is
helpful but not essential. Knowledge of shooting and
editing video is required as this is a reporting
position three days per week.
Other essential qualities include a
natural curiosity, ability to lift 50 pounds of gear, a

AM-1240 KFBC has been Cheyenne and Wyoming's leading

for an experienced news reporter.
Successful candidate should have a
minimum of three years reporting experience covering
local and statewide news, a network quality on air
presentation, and be a highly motivated self starter.
Candidates should also have an even disposition, be able
to work effectively under pressure, be an effective
writer (broadcast and print) and have the ability to
work effectively with other members of the news team.
Position is part of a three person news department
supplying news to the group programs to approximately 40
network affiliates. Cheyenne is the state capitol so
experience covering state government including the state
