Reporter
Market leader KCWY News 13 seeks a reporter for our Casper operation.
Job Description:
--Make contacts and gather information about news issues and events in Wyoming and the West. Write interesting news stories from wire copy, field reports and telephone interviews telling stories and writing to video.
--Mandatory ability to meet deadlines and work cooperatively with other staff members. Shooting and editing skills absolutely essential.
--Appear at public gatherings and perform other tasks related to the position as assigned.
Other Requirements:  A valid driver’s license with no DUIs and a clean driving record is required.

Weekend Meteorologist/Reporter:
Market leader KCWY News 13 seeks a weekend meteorologist/weekday reporter for our Casper operation.
Requirements: The candidate should be a trained meteorologist, familiar with on-air presentation and forecasting. Familiarity with our WSI system is helpful but not essential. Knowledge of shooting and editing video is required as this is a reporting position three days per week.
Other essential qualities include a natural curiosity, ability to lift 50 pounds of gear, a clean driving record and no DUIs.

Sports Director
The Wind River Radio Network is seeking a Sports Director to become a part our small market, 5 station group, in Riverton, Wyoming. Need to fill this position asap.

Must have play-by-play experience, will also have a 3 hour morning air shift on our Rock station KFCW. Will host a half to 1 hour local sports program and will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing other play-by-play announcers.

Sports Marketing
AM-1240 KFBC has been Cheyenne and Wyoming's leading sports radio station for 75 years. Recently KFBC become an affiliate of the CBS sports radio network. This new association means a major increase in the sports programming including a major increase in live play-by-play and sports talk. Because of this increased sports line-up, Montgomery Broadcasting, owner of KFBC, is now looking for a individual to join our highly professional team to specialize in marketing our many sports products, including the Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls, the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, Jim Rome, CBS sports talk, the CBS sports minutes, the Sport Zone, NFL football including Thursday night football, local high school sports and much, much more.

The ideal candidate should be extremely interested and well versed in all types of sports. Additionally, they should be highly motivated, a good communicator, enthusiastic, well organized and most importantly they should enjoy meeting new people.

First year earning potential is up to $40,000 per year plus benefits. These benefits include health insurance including dental and vision, vacation, yearly bonus, profit sharing, health club membership and more. Experience in marketing a plus but not a necessity, as training is provided.

The Wind River Radio Network is seeking a fulltime radio advertising consultant
Candidate must possess solid interpersonal skills and have a customer focused attitude. Strong computer, verbal, and written communications skills are required. The ideal candidate should be goal driven and energetic with a strong desire to succeed.
Responsibilities include developing new business, developing marketing plans and servicing local businesses on their path to success.
We’re looking for someone with prior local marketing experience but will train a candidate who has the desire to learn and grow. A negotiable base and commission, eventually all commission, with an active account list to start.

Experienced News Reporter
Montgomery Broadcasting L.L.C. located in Cheyenne, Wyoming and operator of KFBC-AM, KOLT-FM (92.9 The Boss) and the Cowboy State News Network is looking for an experienced news reporter.
Successful candidate should have a minimum of three years reporting experience covering local and statewide news, a network quality on air presentation, and be a highly motivated self starter. Candidates should also have an even disposition, be able to work effectively under pressure, be an effective writer (broadcast and print) and have the ability to work effectively with other members of the news team.
Position is part of a three person news department supplying news to the group programs to approximately 40 network affiliates. Cheyenne is the state capitol so experience covering state government including the state legislature is helpful.
